We had three nights here in March 2024.
It is a friendly hotel with helpful staff.
The views of the harbour and out to sea
Are very good. Room was clean and comfortable. We agree that a few snacks in the room would be welcome when you arrive. Local buses... the Loop .. are very frequent and great for visiting nearby places. Loved the decor and the little touches.. Thank you.

The staff is what makes this hotel special. Dasha in particular is exceptional and I feel the hotel has found a truly fantastic person with a real sense of initiative to run its front desk. Gary too is great. All the staff knew how to make the hotel into something a little different and a place to be remembered and treasured.

Really great place to stay. Lovely clean, quiet, tastefully decorated room. The Noble Isle products in the bathroom are beautiful to use. Best place I’ve stayed around here by far for the price bracket. I will definitely be returning

Albion house was a very nice birthday getaway. We had a half board which was well worth the little bit extra in cost. No complaints about the room, it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Dinner was amazing - top restaurant quality and at a reasonable price. Service was polite and attentive, we asked a lot about the food and the server was able to give us every little detail. The same goes with breakfast. Overall we had lovely night away shame we don't live closer so we could use the restaurant more.
Rooms: Sound pood rooms, very clean, great amenities
Food & drinks: Food is amazing top quality restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Also a great bar

Went there for Christmas dinner , Food was nice , But and it’s a Big But , The Service was Atrocious, No one on Reception when we arrived, and when someone turned up, we said we were booked in for 3pm ( arrived at 2.57 ) to be told that we were early 😡
Eventually we were seated, and then waited over 10 minutes before asking someone if it was possible to get some water, and some Drinks , she took our order ( £90 bottle of Champagne) then we waited another 15 minutes before That came 😡

Amazing stay for an engagement! The staff were so accommodating and helpful with everything. We managed to get champagne to be in the room on arrival. If you book through the Albion House website you get breakfast included in the price and you can get an offer on dinner. I wouldn’t fault the stay and we would come back in an instance! Thank you so much for a memorable stay we will never forget!
Walkability: Easy access to the Ramsgate coastal walks
Food & drinks: Great food and drink menu for dinner and breakfast

Very cute little hotel. Friendly team running the place, the service was attentive, especially in the bar/restaurant at breakfast. Rooms are very cosy and nicely equipped. We stayed on the top floor which is a bit of a struggle with suitcases, but the team is on hand to help - it's an old building and the ceilings do encroach on you a bit. Location is good with lovely harbour views if you're lucky enough to get a room with a sea view. Parking can be a bit tricky as it's on-street. Overall, great little place, would stay again.
Rooms: Very cosy rooms with comfortable beds. En suite bathrooms are all marble tiled and feel luxurious. Bags of character!
Walkability: Good location for access to the seafront and town, be prepared for the hill if you're walking there with luggage.
Food & drinks: Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both were great value with plenty of well prepared, tasty options. Couldn't fault it!

I'll start with the positives - one staff member in particular was wonderful, I don't know her name but she was working the afternoon and evening shifts.
Food was nice and service was quick with no delays.
Nice room views and bathroom facilities.
Negatives I would say the bed was slightly too soft where I usually prefer a firmer mattress.
Bedding was more suitable for winter months and not summer so it got quite warm to sleep in.
But the biggest issue for us was we barely got any sleep on both nights we stayed due to a larger group staying in the same floor as us occupying 3 other rooms, so all we heard most of the nights was doors slamming all throughout the night.
I would recommend the hotel to a friend but the area of Ramsgate was quite depressing with majority of shops closed down. And just the general run down feel of the town.
The hotel is dog friendly which was great for our dog but unfortunately the area of Ramsgate was not. We couldn't goto majority of beaches with him and zero restaurants allowed him in so we ended up dining at the hotel for the duration of our stay.

Had an amazing stay here for my birthday. All staff were lovely. Our check in and check out members of staff in particular were so friendly and helpful. Our room with a view was gorgeous. It was one of the mixologists first day working the at bar and the cocktails were some of the best that I have ever had :-) Would highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, nice selection of cocktails, good coffee and breakfast (the egg royal and the granula are superb), one of the best stays on our 2 weeks stay in South England. Nicely decorated boutique hotel with stylish interior. Dog friendly. Excellent location at a busy street though.
