In moving our old antique glass cabinet we unfortunately broke the glass in one of the doors. I took the door into Ramsgate Glass centre fully expecting to get it back with just a plain glass replacement or even being told they would not be able to help. What we got back matches exactly the other door complete with the wood decoration pieces on the glass. Delighted with the excellent work and all at a very reasonable price too. Thank you very much to the expert at Ramsgate Glass, very much appreciated.

Expensive..like really pricey..a panel of toughened glass here was £320, 1000mm x 750mm..where I normally get it from was £80.. exactly 4x more..shame.. they're greedy

We needed some new putty around the glass on our very old Georgian Sash windows in Margate + we had two broken panels replaced. The initial quote was reasonable, we asked them to attend and they were out the same day. The chap was polite and completed a quality re puttying with smooth clear defined lines. He had skill, I would make them the first people I would call if /when I need new panes of glass and puttying again in the future. Thankyou!

Excellent service as always! Supplied and fitted two new double glazed units recently. Very long, heavy and awkward units but you can’t tell the difference from the originals. Highly recommend Ramsgate Glass.

WARNING! Do not use. They would not supply and fit replacements to all my property. Saying their fitter had left to start up on his own. Supplied only, and we got a fitter to fit them 18 months ago. Then a few days ago one of the windows shattered in a bedroom not being used. The strange thing is no one went near the window, but it has shattered just on the inside. Asked Ramsgate glass to come and sort it, and never heard anything for days. When I called to chase them up they explained that the windows are out of warranty, and nothing to do with them now. Now if it wasn’t just me at home at the time, I would definitely not have believed whoever was there, and blamed them! However NO ONE went near the glass, and just the internal glass in the double glazed unit shattered. I have been advised definitely a manufacturing issue and they won’t do anything. Fortunately I can afford to get a reputable company in to repair, but their attitude stinks. Fitter supplied us with a FENSA certificate as per the Thanet council planning application.

Spoke to their office needing an emergency repair and after forwarding a picture of what was required to Jo/Chris, they had a fitter round to me later that day with a replacement, all fitted that day and at a great price. Would recommend this thanet based family business.

Super friendly family run business. The last time I bought any glass was around 20 years ago. I purchased 4 panes of glass for my sash windows and i simply couldn't believe the price. I couldn't believe how cheap they were. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely use Ramsgate glass for all my glass needs.
