Went for quite pray and reflection. Did not expect to be provided with food as there was no retreat at the time. The host went out of their way to ensure we had every opportunity to spend as much time as we wanted in prayers and reflections. The food was also provided. We were give special privilege to watch and be part of a live pod casting. It was very special. Please note the the accommodation is very basic but then you are going for spending time with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Very highly recommended.

A nice experience. You don't enter the church immediately but a exhibition centre to Pugin. Lots to read which we skimmed but nicely done.
The walk through the buildings was interesting and the church itself feels unusual in its layout.
Well worth a walk through it all without going to church.

Grade I Listed, attributed to Augustus Pugin (completed by his son) Part of an aggregate of related religiously themed buildings and personal residence as envisioned by Pugin, now including a Saint’s shrine and “Pugin-centric”Educational/Information Centre.
Pugin is buried here.
A banded, knapped flint stone exterior somewhat melancholic and wistful features a truncated and spire-less tower.
The interior features bespoke commissions across the art and craft spectrum by Pugin’s contemporary associates, collaborators and sons.
The highly individualistic realisation of Pugin’s unswerving dedication and belief.

Beautiful church with the most amazing long depiction of the Stations of the Cross, carved in wood and painted, with most of the characters in medieval costume. Very lively.
Unfortunately, we couldn't see the visitor centre as it was booked for the week for a conference, but that would certainly have added to our enjoyment. We'll visit on our next trip to Ramsgate.

Truly magnificent church and lovely early Sunday morning Mass. Very friendly parishioners - I was even given a quick history of the church and it's builder Pugin. Well worth a visit.
