Our usual place had a power cut so decided to try this one as was supposed to be award winners, was so disappointed was very average chips OK fish had a big amount that was just batter and the mushy peas and curry sauce was just like water horrible, not award winners or outstanding in my opinion just average I did message them had no response you learn by your mistakes will stick to our usual one in future Sandys Folkestone the best around

Definitely our favourite fish restaurant. Very clean and tidy. Loo is well decorated and clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was absolutely scrumptious. Cod was chunky and pure white. Chips cooked to perfection. Vegetarian battered sausages are really lovely. Food was hot and not at all greasy. Can't recommend this enough. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sausages are delicious. They also do veggie burgers either plain or battered. I will be trying them next week

Best chippy around, we moved from Ramsgate to Margate and still travel just for this chippy! Love the fish and chips. Family favourite! Parking: Parking can be limited close to chippy. Usually park on side road opposite chippy if I can get a space out front of chippy Kid-friendliness: Lovely service towards children

Fish was great, but the chips could have done with another few minutes in the fryer. Such a shame as the place is clean and tidy and friendly staff. Edit : I should have mentioned the large portions and good value. Maybe they were in a hurry and my chips just missed out. I'll edit my review again next time I test their chips out

I traveled from Minster as the best chip shop in Kent advert sold it to me I had Skate and I must admit it was Hugh but quite oily but that’s just fried fish I personally thought the chips were dry and needed more cooking ( I didn’t eat them) overall I would say it was an ok meal but I wouldn’t drive past other chippies to get to them But on a good point my whole meal was only £12.80 where the Chip shop in Minster want £15.00 just for the skate (rip off)

Called in on the way home from work and couldn't believe what I'd stumbled upon. What an incredible atmosphere! The staff were an absolute delight, laughing and joking with all the customers. Every time another customer walked in, the staff were on first name tetms with them and knew their usual orders. The prices were great and the portions were enormous and, most importantly, the cod and chips were delicious. This is definitely my new number one choice for fish and chips. I promise I haven't been paid to say this, I'm just blown away by this place 👍🏻👍🏻

The food, once given, was very tasty and well cooked. It was very busy but my experience of the service was not good. Others received what looked like excellent service so I will go back as the haddock and chips I had tasted so good.
