Due to severe back pain caused by tension, I booked a double appointment for a Scandinavian and hot stone massage (3h/2x90min) at The Recovery Well in Ramsgate during my sailing holiday. How do you recognize a good masseur? He recognises how to read the body based on the situation and apply the correct application for the patient. This was absolutely the case here. The Scandinavian massage was supplemented by reflexology massage elements, which relieved the tension at the right trigger points, which were then treated with hot stone massage. The 3 hours flew by and were a really relaxing journey that ended with moments of sleep. 24 hours after the massage, the back pain and tension disappeared. As a connoisseur and user (1-2 months) of many forms of massage in London, Zurich and worldwide, I can absolutely recommend The Recovery Well in Ramsgate. The service is first class, friendly and professional and you feel very safe and in good hands here. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great experience. Should I holiday in Kent (Ramsgate & Co.) again I will certainly visit The Recovery Well as a returning customer.

A fantastic hot stone massage today, I feel relaxed and there’s a lot less tension in my shoulders and hip. Sandra is so professional, calm and caring. If you need some perfect relaxation time, or simply some pampering, you cannot get better than booking a massage at The Recovery Well.

Being a keen older runner, my legs take a hammering and over the years I've had many massages, which have been great but they are just massages. Whereas with Sandra, it's about healing a problem. Today I was complaining about pain in my quads. Sandra could feel that there was an issue and spent 95% on the massage on my legs to help relieve the tension. It takes a certain skill and aptitude to identity that I had other issues with my legs that were part of my quad issues rather than just giving an person a "massage". I will be back for more healing.

Today I felt at total ease. It was so professionally organised. I felt safe, and all the Covid measures were in place. I had the best aromatherapy treatment I’ve probably ever had. At all times Sandra was very conciseness. On entering the gazebo, everything was clean and perfectly managed. There was a place to hand wash as soon as I entered the treatment room. Sandra wore a mask and visor throughout my treatment. I would recommend the recovery well to anyone wanting an amazing treatment. From start to finish, I was relaxed and kept safe.
